Corporate car purchases fell by 15%


According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", for 10 months of 2020, corporate clients (legal entities) in Russia bought about 164 thousand new cars, which is lower by 15% than a year ago. Agency experts note that legal entities account for 14% of the total number of purchased cars, or every seventh.

The most popular was the domestic brand LADA, the indicator of which was almost 26 thousand units – lower by 1% than in January-October of 2019. The second place is occupied by the German Volkswagen (15.6 thousand units; -19%), the third one - by the Korean KIA (15.3 thousand units; -23%). Japanese Toyota (14.5 units; -14%) and French Renault (12.3 thousand units; -18%) are also among the top-five of leaders.

In the model structure of corporate purchases, the leadership belongs to Volkswagen Polo - for 10 months, legal entities purchased 10.1 thousand units of this model. LADA Largus is the second one with the result of 10 thousand units. This is followed by Toyota Camry (6.3 thousand units) and KIA Rio (6 thousand units), and Renault Logan (5.6 thousand units) finished the top five.
