In the first month of autumn, Russians became owners of about 104 thousand foreign cars. As the experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, this is 77% of all purchased new cars. The most popular foreign model is Hyundai Creta - in September, the residents of the Russian Federation bought 7405 of these crossovers. The second place, with a slight lag, was occupied by another representative of the Korean car industry - KIA Rio (7362 units). Then Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai Solaris (5208 and 5178 units, respectively) follow with comparable results. And the crossover Toyota RAV4, which was chosen by 3,580 buyers, finished the top-five of leaders. Also the TOP-10 of the best-selling new foreign cars in September included: Skoda Rapid (3009 units), Volkswagen Tiguan (2983 units), Renault Duster (2806 units), Toyota Camry (2803 units) and Hyundai Tucson (2611 units).
