Nissan reduced sales by 35% in Russia in August

Russian Nissan dealers sold 3,852 vehicles in August, which is lower by 35% than a year before. According to the results of eight months of 2020, 34,912 Nissan vehicles were sold in Russia, which is lower by 15% than in the same period of the previous year. As a result, Nissan ranked the eighth in sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand's market share was 4.0% versus 3.9% a year before, according to the AEB.

Nissan Qashqai crossover became the best seller of Nissan in the Russian market in August, sales of which fell by 15% and reached 1,833 units. The second place was occupied by Nissan X-Trail with 908 sold cars, which is lower by 55% than a year ago. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in September Russian dealers of Nissan started the sales of 2020 Nissan X-Trail crossover. The car has received new functions and connectivity options, as well as a new Alcantara combination seat trim in coffee color. Prices for the 2020 Nissan X-Trail start from 1 million 749 thousand rubles.
