More than 1000 new generation Suzuki Jimny SUVs were sold in Russia

The fourth generation Suzuki Jimny appeared in the Russian market in August 2019, and since then more than 1000 of these SUVs have been sold in our country. The model remains one of the most popular among fans of the Japanese brand, according to the press service of Suzuki Motor Rus.

Recall that the new generation Suzuki Jimny SUV is presented in two trim levels - GL and GLX - at a price from 1 million 639 thousand rubles to 1 million 849 thousand rubles, respectively. The new Suzuki Jimny is available in the Russian market with a 1.5-liter 102 hp petrol engine, which is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-band "automatic" from Aisin.

As before, the SUV has a ladder-type spar frame, solid suspension, and a plug-in all-wheel drive. The intelligent AllGripPro all-wheel drive system is available for the new generation car. A feature of this system is the presence of a transfer case with the ability to connect a low gear, which increases the engine torque. As for the geometry of the new Jimny, the approach angle is 37 degrees, the exit angle is 49, and the longitudinal cross-country angle is 28 degrees. The turning radius of the SUV is 4.9 m, the ground clearance is 210 mm.
