Renault reduced sales by 16% in Russia in August

Russian Renault dealers sold 10,906 vehicles in August, which is lower by 16% than in the previous year. At the end of eight months of 2020, Renault sales in the Russian market reached 74,047 cars, which is lower by 17% than in the same period of the previous year. As a result, Renault ranked the fourth in sales among all carmakers in Russia, and the brand's market share was 8.4%, according to the AEB.

Renault's bestseller in Russia is Duster crossover - it was chosen by 3101 consumers in the previous month, which corresponds to the level of the previous year. The second place in the Renault lineup was taken by the Logan sedan, its sales decreased by 4% to 2,737 units. The third result among Renault models was shown by Sandero hatchback - 1,823 sold cars (-21%). Sales of Kaptur crossover reached 1,785 cars, which is lower by 27% than a year ago.
