Import of passenger cars fell by 35% in January-July

Imports of passenger cars to Russia fell by 35% to 111.2 thousand cars for seven months of 2020. According to the data of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia, in the reporting period, cars were imported to Russia for 2 billion 537.3 million dollars. At the same time, 17.1 thousand cars were imported in July (+ 1.6% against June) for $ 358.9 million.

Import of trucks in January-July fell by 37.2% to 10.2 thousand vehicles worth $ 565.8 million. Among them, 1.8 thousand trucks (+ 12.2% compared to June) for $97.3 million were delivered to our country in July.
