Avtotor gets ready to launch production of Hyundai HD 78 with gas engine

Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad is launching production of the Hyundai HD78 commercial vehicles with gas engine.  The first trucks are planned to be assembled in October 2020, the press service of the enterprise reports. The joint project of the gas engine Hyundai modifications is being developed by Avtotor, Hyundai Truck & Bus Rus and RariTEK (Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan). The project participants signed a collaboration agreement, which provides for joint development, sale and promotion of gas vehicles on Hyundai commercial base and their service in the Russian market. At the moment, the vehicle has passed all certification tests and is ready for serial production. A gas equipment assembly line and a gas filling station are currently being installed at Avtotor production site.
