The modifications with a 1.4-liter 150 hp. Turbo-4 engine will be available with the Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission with torque converter.

Top versions of the Octavia will retain the turbo engine and the DSG-7 robotic transmission: the most powerful modifications with a 190-hp 2.0-liter engine will get a preselective transmission, but 2-liter liftbacks will come on sale later. The Combi estate cars will also take time to enter the Russian market. Officially, Skoda does not comment on the lineup of engines for the fourth generation Octavia of Russian production.  There is information that the new product will be on sale by the end of 2020, and the presentation of the local version is scheduled for 16 September.
