According to the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, the volume of the Russian market of new trucks in July of 2020 actually returned to the pre-crisis level and reached 6.5 thousand units. This is lower only by 1.1% than in the same month of the previous year.
The most popular brand on the truck market remains KAMAZ, which accounted for almost 39% of the total volume in July, which corresponds to 2.5 thousand vehicles. This is higher by 14.5% than a year ago. Next, with a great lag, is another domestic manufacturer - GAZ, the market indicator of which was 680 vehicles (-11.3%). The most popular foreign brand in the Russian market of new trucks was Swedish Scania (392 units; -3.7%), and another Swedish brand - Volvo - took the fourth place of the rating (338 units; -29%). The Belarusian MAZ finished the top-5 (335 units; + 0.6%).
According to the experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", by the results of 7 months of 2020, the market of new trucks in the Russian Federation fell by 9.8% to 38.1 thousand units.
