Mazda Sollers plant returns to the full working week

Mazda Sollers plant in Vladivostok, which switched to a part-time work week from July 1st, returns to the production on a five-day basis from August 1st. The agency "AUTOSTAT" was informed about it in the press service of "Mazda Sollers", by noting that after the gradual lifting of the self-isolation regime in a number of regions, the Russian car market demonstrates positive changes, similar to foreign markets.

As AUTOSTAT reported earlier, Russian Mazda dealers sold 2,642 cars in June, which is higher by 9% than a year before. At the end of six months of 2020, the brand's sales in our country reached 11,878 cars, which is lower by 13% than in the same period of the previous year. As a result, Mazda's market share was 1.9% versus 1.6% a year before, according to the AEB. Let us remind you that the joint venture Mazda Sollers Manufacturing Rus was created by Mazda Motor Corporation and Sollers on the basis of a 50/50 partnership in 2012. Today, the company produces three car models: Mazda CX-9 and Mazda CX-5 crossovers, as well as Mazda6 sedan.
