Hyundai Creta crossovers were delivered for a service in the Ministry of Emergencies

Hyundai Motor CIS will deliver 462 Hyundai Creta crossovers to the territorial divisions of EMERCOM of Russia in all regions of the country. The first 60 vehicles have already been handed over to the departments of the State Fire Supervision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Central Federal District of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Korean brand reported. The rest of Hyundai Creta crossovers will be sent to the regional departments of the Ministry of Emergencies by November of this year.

The vehicles will be used for preventive fire prevention raids, the delivery of portable forensic laboratories to fire sites and other daily activities of fire inspectors. Hyundai Creta crossover is manufactured at the Russian Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg. Recall that in March of this year, the updated Hyundai Creta crossover entered the Russian market, which is available in Start, Active, Comfort, Travel and Style trim levels at a price of 987 thousand rubles. The model is still equipped in Russia with Gamma 1.6 D-CVVT engines developing 123 hp, and Nu 2.0 D-CVVT engines with 150 hp. The engines work in conjunction with 6-speed gearboxes - both manual and automatic, to choose from.

The exterior of the updated Hyundai Creta is distinguished by a two-tone paint scheme: now customers can combine one of five available body colors with a black (black mother-of-pearl) roof. The radiator closer has a "honeycomb" structure, like the rest of the recently updated Hyundai models. It should be noted that since its appearance in the Russian market in 2016, Hyundai Creta has kept its leading sales position in the SUV segment. As previously reported AUTOSTAT, by the results of the first half of 2020, the sales of Hyundai Creta reached 29,554 vehicles (-15%) in Russia.
