    The analytic agency “AUTOSTAT” within the framework of the project “AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS - 2019. Used cars: preferences of car owners” (third wave) * investigated the willingness of car owners to consider purchase of a used car at a dealership. This study was conducted by online survey in March of 2019; it was attended by more than 1,900 car owners of various car brands.



Mitsubishi reduced sales by 33% in Russia in June


Russian Mitsubishi dealers sold 1,671 cars in June – lower by 33% than a year before. According to the results of the first six months of 2020, 11,608 Mitsubishi cars were sold in Russia, which are lower by 40% than the figure for the same period of the previous year.

According to the press service of MMS Rus, Outlander crossover remains the bestseller of Mitsubishi in the Russian market, sales of which in the first half reached 6,575 cars (-38%). The second most popular Mitsubishi model is Pajero Sport frame SUV with 2301 sold cars (-38%). The third place was occupied by the compact Mitsubishi ASX crossover that was chosen by 1,386 buyers (-40%).

Recall that in March, Russian Mitsubishi dealers began the sales of the updated ASX crossover. “This period has become very difficult for all representatives of the automotive industry. But we took all possible measures to support our dealer network. Sales in June showed that consumers are active and ready to buy a new car, which they had to postpone. Now our dealerships are ready to provide customers with the whole model range and spare parts in the required volume,” - said Osamu Iwaba, president and chief executive officer of MMS Rus.
