The market of luxury used cars fell by 13% in Russia

According to the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, by the results of 5 months of 2020, the volume of the Russian market of used luxury cars was 642 units. This is lower by 13% than the result of a year ago (739 units). According to agency experts, in May the secondary market of Luxury segment fell even more. So, in the last spring month, the Russians bought 102 used such cars – lower by 38% than in May of 2019 (165 units).

Among used luxury cars, the residents of our country give the most preference to the Bentley brand, which accounted for one third of the total volume from January to May or 215 units. Mercedes-Benz Maybach is a little inferior to it with a rate of 204 resold cars. The results of other luxury brands in the secondary market look more modest. During the reporting period, 87 used Maserati cars were purchased in Russia, 72 - Rolls-Royce, 26 - Lamborghini, 21 - Ferrari and 17 – Aston Martin units.
