KAMAZ canceled the part-time work in July

KAMAZ abolished the regime of an incomplete three-day working week in July due to the availability of orders for production. Earlier, for the period from June 29th to July 31st of this year, the regime was established for an incomplete three-day, 24-hour working week with working days - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. According to the KAMAZ press service, an incomplete three-day work week in relation to the personnel of the company’s divisions could be introduced due to the risk of a decrease in demand for cars in the context of the spread of coronavirus.

Now the company is provided with orders - in July the team will work in the traditional working mode. It is planned that the pace of the main assembly line will be 170 cars per a day. In July, the final production of the company will produce about 3.3 thousand KAMAZ trucks. We remind you that earlier a decree was issued at KAMAZ, according to which the two-week paid vacation of the company's employees, previously planned for the period from July 20th to August 2nd, was postponed to August 17-30th. The decision to postpone the start and end dates of annual paid leave from July to August was made due to the need to fulfill timely a large volume of orders received from customers. Thanks to the active work of the company's sales service, as well as measures to support the demand for commercial vehicles adopted by the leadership of the Russian Federation, a steady increase in requests for KAMAZ trucks was noted in June-July.

According to the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, in May of 2020, 2005 KAMAZ trucks were registered in Russia - this is higher by 34% than a year ago. For five months of 2020, KAMAZ sold 9,643 trucks in the Russian market, which is lower by 10.4% in compare with the same period of the previous year.
