That is why it was decided to leave the European region and focus on promotion in North America, China, Russia, the Middle East, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region, the press service of Infiniti reports.

As a part of a global process of production efficiency improving, the future Infiniti lineup will use the capabilities of common Nissan Motor Company platforms. Moreover, all cars of the brand will be developed according to unique premium standards. As noted, Nissan Motor Company considers the Infiniti brand as integral part of its new transformation plan. Already this year, the process of launching of a new model line of the brand will begin.

The first new product will be Infiniti QX55 crossover coupe, and the most popular in the current lineup of the brand - QX60 crossover - will soon survive a generational change. Part of the new Infiniti strategy will be the improved significantly e-Power technology, which will be available only to customers of this premium brand along with other more traditional powerplant options.

Infiniti is developing a unique premium version of Nissan e-Power technology, which is characterized by increased power output and significantly lower noise level. Based on the wishes of the brand’s customers, Infiniti revised the powertrain strategy for future models. Guided by a strategy of sustainable growth, the company focuses on e-Power power plants as a solution to the problem of electrification in the nearest future. At the same time, 100% electric cars are postponed for the future.
