In May, FreshAuto sold more cars by 30% than in April. The plans were to sell 1,030 used cars and 150 new ones, and the company even exceeded the plan for used cars by selling 1,190 cars. New cars were sold a little less than it was planned - 136 units, the press service of the dealer informed. As noted, we are talking about crisis plans: the company adjusted substantially them after the pandemic was announced and the self-isolation regime was introduced.

Many regional FreshAuto stores are still closed - for example, branches in Rostov-on-Don - one of the key locations for the network. Therefore, the share of online sales for the company is still high, about 82%. Since the end of May, car dealerships of the network began to operate fully in Voronezh, Krasnodar, Volgograd and Tyumen - in compliance with all relevant sanitary standards.

The company regards the opening of centres as a serious driver of sales: the opportunity has appeared again to offer the client a full range of services. Despite the removal of formal restrictions, traffic in these branches is still significantly reduced in compare with the previous periods, the company does not notice any boom of cars, and, of course, there are no queues. FreshAuto is setting somewhat more ambitious plans for June than the previous month: it will be sold at least 180 new cars in case of renewed supply, and used cars will be sold in amount of 1,500 units. It is planned to stabilize online sales in June at the level of 75%.

“By the end of the year, we would like to keep online sales at 30%: we will consider it as a good indicator, especially considering that before the crisis, this figure for our company was 3-5%,” said FreshAuto founder, Denis Migal.
