Until 2026, AvtoVAZ will release 10 new and seven restyled LADA models. As the director of the LADA B / C program, Alexei Likhachev, said, the first seven new products will appear in the market in the next two years. We are talking about the restyling of the LADA Vesta and Largus family, as well as five new models, Motor.ru informed.

The remaining new items will appear in the market from 2023 to 2026 - the company will present five updates for current cars and five more new models. So far, the company has not provided any specifics regarding model line updates. Most likely, this is first of all about the new generation of LADA 4x4 NG SUV, which is currently under development. In addition, AvtoVAZ is considering the expanding of the commercial LADA line, also due to a new van under the working name LADA Van. Presumably we are talking about the redesigned "heel" Renault Dokker.

Recall that in December of 2018, AvtoVAZ signed a special investment contract with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the purpose of which is to support the development of the Alliance brands in Russia - LADA, Renault, Nissan, Datsun and Mitsubishi, as well as the modernization of production capacities. Under a 10-year contract, AvtoVAZ will invest about 70 billion rubles, create 2,300 new jobs and, together with partners in the Alliance, will expand the localization of materials, parts and components, introduce new technologies, develop research activities in Russia and increase export volumes. In particular, within the framework of the SPIC, it is assumed not only the localization of global automobile platforms, but also the production of the engine, including the gas engine version, as well as the production of a continuously variable transmission. In addition, investors have committed themselves to the introduction of cloud-based electronic technology and the localization of car control systems.
