Renault plant resumes the car production in Moscow

Since April 27th, 2020, Moscow Renault plant is gradually resuming the car production. This was reported to the AUTOSTAT agency in the press service of Renault Russia, adding that the company was included in the list of backbone enterprises prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and received permission from the Moscow government to launch the conveyor.

“To ensure the safety of employees and ensure social distance, the launch of the enterprise will be gradual. At the first stage, the production will work in one shift, and the conveyor speed is reduced by 50%. The number of employees in the office will be also limited,” - said the press service of Renault.

Recall that at the present time at the Moscow plant Renault produced crossovers Renault Duster, Renault Kaptur, Nissan Terrano, as well as a coupe-crossover Renault Arkana. It is worth noting that Renault in Moscow for the first time became the “parent plant” for the new global Arkana model, the development of which was mainly attended by Russian specialists.
