There were named Russian car plants that can count on the state aid

The Ministry of Industry and Trade approved an expanded list of systemically important enterprises that can count on the state support in times of crisis. The list included 12 car plants, including those that produce foreign cars. All of them meet certain criteria: annual revenue of at least 20 billion rubles and the number of employees at least 1,000 people, writes the portal Motor.ru.

The list includes AvtoVAZ Group (sites in Togliatti and Izhevsk), Ural, GAZ, KAMAZ, Sollers (UAZ and joint ventures with Ford in Yelabuga and Mazda in Vladivostok). In addition, the list includes plants producing only foreign cars: Moscow Renault Russia, Kaluga Volkswagen and PSMA Rus (a joint plant of PSA Peugeot-Citroen and Mitsubishi Motors), St. Petersburg Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota, as well as Kaliningrad Avtotor, where the production of BMW, KIA and Hyundai cars is adjusted.

The selected plants can count on the state aid. We are talking about such anti-crisis measures as soft loans for working capital. In addition, they have a six-month moratorium on bankruptcy proceedings. It is worth noting that at least two Russian car plants were not included in the list - Mercedes-Benz enterprises in the Moscow region and Haval in the Tula region. In the case of the latter, this is due to the fact that the government has not concluded a special investment contract with it. It gives the right for tax benefits and guarantees of non-deterioration of business conditions in exchange for investments.
