Mercedes-Benz showed the record sales growth in Russia in March

Russian Mercedes-Benz dealers sold 4,427 cars and SUVs in March – higher by 34% than a year before. According to the results of the first three months of 2020, Mercedes-Benz sales in our country reached 10,334 cars, which is higher by 16% than the figure for the same period of the previous year, informed the press service of Mercedes-Benz Rus. In addition, sales of small vehicles in March reached 154 units (+ 3%), according to the results of the first quarter - 328 vehicles (-9%).

As a result of sales in March and the first quarter as a whole, the V-Class became the leader in the premium mid-size car segment. The new Sprinter turned out to be the most popular imported large small-capacity car in the Russian market in March and in the first quarter.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in June of 2020, Russian dealers will have a new seven-seater Mercedes-Benz GLB crossover. Then the second-generation of Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe crossover and the first all-electric car from Mercedes-Benz - the EQC crossover - will go on sale. In addition, in July of this year, the new luxury SUV Mercedes-Maybach GLS will reach the Russian market.
