TOP-10 of brands of trucks that were purchased by legal entities

According to the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, in 2019, legal entities in the Russian Federation bought 73.1 thousand new trucks (excluding LCV). This is slightly lower (-0.2%) than a year before.

Agency experts have compiled a rating of truck brands that are the most popular among corporate clients. The leader here is the domestic KAMAZ, the share of which was more than 35% of the total corporate sales of trucks in our country. So, in 2019, legal entities bought 26.1 thousand KAMAZ vehicles, which is higher by 10% than a year before. This indicator is 3.5 times lower for another Russian brand - GAZ.

For the last year, legal entities bought 7.5 thousand of these trucks (+ 9%). Swedish brands Scania (5.2 thousand units; -15%) and Volvo (5.1 thousand units; -12%) are the next in our ranking. German MAN finished the top-5 (4.6 thousand units; + 1%).

In addition to them, the TOP-10 of brands of trucks that were purchased by legal entities also included: Mercedes-Benz (3.9 thousand units; -16%), MAZ (3.4 thousand units; -4%), URAL (3 thousand units; + 7%), Isuzu (2.7 thousand units; -23%) and DAF (2.1 thousand units; -5%).
