The new crossover Chery Tiggo 8 went on sale in Russia

On March 1st, 2020 Russian Chery dealers began the sales of a new seven-seat crossover Chery Tiggo 8. The new product is available in the maximum configuration Prestige at a price of 1 million 699 thousand rubles, the press service of Chery Automobiles Rus reported.

For the Russian market, the full-size seven-seat crossover Chery Tiggo 8 is equipped with a remote engine start system, keyless entry into the car interior and an electric rear door with contactless opening function. The car’s equipment also includes a “full” winter package, which includes heated seats with step adjustment, heated steering wheel, heated rear-view mirrors, heated surface of the front and rear windows and heated washer nozzles.

As for the Chery Tiggo 8 interior, the steering wheel is adjustable in four directions, and premium leather seats from the American company Lear are equipped with electric adjustments in 6 directions, as well as adjustable lumbar support for the driver. The multimedia system, the digital display of the dashboard and the climate control screen are completely Russified.

The Chery car Rus Company gives warranty for the Chery Tiggo 8 crossover for 5 years or 150 thousand kilometers of a car’s run, whichever comes first. These periods also apply to bodywork and paintwork.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in addition to the Tiggo 8 crossover, in 2020, other new products from Chery will appear in the Russian market. So, in the second quarter of 2020, the list of Tiggo 4 trim levels will be expanded to five, in the third quarter the Tiggo 7 Pro is expected to appear, and Tiggo 2 Pro - in the fourth quarter.
