KAMAZ plans to increase the passenger transport sales by 54% in 2020

According to the results of 2019, KAMAZ increased passenger transport sales by 45% and this year it plans to achieve the sales growth in this segment by 54%. This was stated by KAMAZ Deputy General Director for Passenger Transport, Nikolai Pronin.

According to the press service of KAMAZ, the plans include the launch of new products in the market, including NEFAZ 5299-40-57 city bus using liquefied natural gas, NEFAZ 5299-37-57 intercity bus using compressed natural gas in a new look, NEFAZ restyled half-low bus 5299-30-57, middle-class bus NEFAZ 4299-30-52, articulated electric bus KAMAZ-6282 and articulated bus NEFAZ-6299. Recall that in January of 2020, KAMAZ won another tender for the supply of 200 electric buses to Moscow. It will deliver them until the end of August of 2020 and will carry out their after-sales service for 15 years. Today, 200 KAMAZ electric buses operate on the lines of the Russian capital.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, at NEFAZ, where the production of electric buses has been established, modernization continues. Currently, NEFAZ bus capacities are fully loaded; the company is increasing the production capacity in order to increase the passenger transport production. To solve this problem, during 2020 it is necessary to reach the general assembly rate of 10 units of equipment (8 diesel buses and 2 electric buses) per a day.
