Russian sales of Mitsubishi ASX grew by 9% in January


Russian Mitsubishi dealers sold 1539 cars in January - 27% lower than a year before. According to the press service of MMS Rus, the Outlander crossover remains the bestseller of Mitsubishi in the Russian market, its sales reached 806 cars (-28%) in the previous month. The second most popular Mitsubishi model was Pajero Sport frame SUV with 369 sold vehicles (-22%). The third place went to the compact Mitsubishi ASX crossover, which was chosen by 165 buyers (+ 9%).

Recall that in April of 2020, Mitsubishi will begin the sales of the updated ASX crossover in Russia. Updates touched the design, made in accordance with the corporate design concept of Dynamic Shield, as well as technical nodes. And in December, an updated Pajero Sport SUV will appear in our country, the production of which will be launched at the plant in Kaluga.

There will be available gasoline and diesel versions of this model for the Russians. In addition, this year the company will offer new special versions of its models for Russian customers, but information about them has not been disclosed.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, MMS Rus plans to sell more than 35 thousand new Mitsubishi cars in Russia in 2020. This is lower by about 12% than in the previous year, when 39,938 cars were sold in the Russian market.
