The explosive growth of the Russian market of new light commercial vehicles (LCV), which the experts of the analytical agency AUTOSTAT fixed in October (+ 13.8%), slowed down. So, in November of 2019, their sales volume reached 9.5 thousand units, which is 0.7% higher than in the previous year.
The leader of this market remains the domestic brand GAZ, the share of which was 46% of the total volume of the previous month. Sales of these LCVs grew by 11.3% and reached 4.3 thousand sold units. Despite the drop in sales (-9.9%), UAZ returned to the second place in the ranking, with a market volume of 1.4 thousand units. But the American Ford, on the contrary, went down to the third place with 1.1 thousand cars (+ 1.6%).
In November, the top-5 of leaders kept their places such brands as the domestic LADA (822 units; -12.7%) and German Volkswagen (529 units; + 4.3%). According to the experts of the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, by the results of 11 months of 2019, the market volume of light commercial vehicles in our country shows a decline - by 1% to 98.7 thousand units.
