Volkswagen Tiguan became the best-selling crossover in Europe in October

According to the results of October, the Volkswagen Tiguan compact crossover was among the five most popular models in Europe, while becoming a bestseller in the SUV segment. As Volkswagen noted, the largest increase in demand for cars of the brand was recorded in Germany. According to the research company JATO Dynamics, Volkswagen Golf was the best-selling model in Europe with 34, 362 sold cars in the previous month (+ 6.4%).

Renault Clio is the second one, its sales reached 19,576 cars (-17.4%). The third result was shown by Volkswagen Polo - the sales of this model fell by 7.8% to 19,225 units. Ford Fiesta is the next, which was chosen by 18,919 European buyers (-9.5%).

This time Volkswagen Tiguan finishes the top 5, which sold 18,543 units (+ 22.1%). The TOP 10 of best-selling models in Europe also included Toyota Yaris (18,280 units, -3.7%), Renault Captur (17,850 units, + 44.7%), Peugeot 208 (17,746 units, -0.9 %), Citroen C3 (17,698 units, + 4.1%) and Skoda Octavia (17,608 units, -2.5%).
