The Russian LCV market remained the sixth one in Europe in October

The Russian LCV market, which continued to grow in October, nevertheless, remained in the sixth place in the European championship. According to the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ASEA), sales of light commercial vehicles in Europe fell by 6% to 175,329 units in the previous month.

France became the leader among European countries by sales of LCVs up to 3.5 tons, where this segment reached 41,734 vehicles (-0.5%). Great Britain is the second one with 25,373 sold cars (-11%), and Germany is the third one, its LCV market reached 24,908 units (-10.1%). Spain is the next, where 17,265 light commercial vehicles were sold (-2%). This time, Italy finishes the top 5, with 17,250 sold vehicles (+ 2%).

If we take into consideration Russia when estimate the European LCV market, our country remains the sixth one in the European championship. According to the agency AUTOSTAT, sales of light commercial vehicles reached 10,938 units in Russia in October (+ 13.8%).
