TOP-10 of Russian regions by the number of registered motorcycles

According to the data of the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, there are 2 million 387 thousand motorcycles in our country (as of July 1st, 2019). It is noteworthy that most of such equipment is not registered in the metropolitan regions of the Russian Federation. So, the leader by the largest number of motorcycles is Krasnodar Territory, in which there are 114.6 thousand units.

This makes up about 5% of the total Russian motorcycle fleet. Primorsky Krai is the next in the ranking with 105.9 thousand motorcycles. In two regions, these indicators also exceed the 100,000th mark: Bashkortostan (103.9 thousand units) and Saratov region (102 thousand units). Tula Region is the fifth one (84.7 thousand units). Moscow is only the sixth one.

In the Russian capital, 83.5 thousand motorcycles are registered. Besides them, Sverdlovsk region (82.6 thousand units), Kirov region (74.4 thousand units), Nizhny Novgorod region (73.9 thousand units) and Moscow region (66.3 thousand units) are in the TOP-10 of subjects of the Russian Federation in terms of the motorcycle fleet.
