Russian prices of the BMW 2 Series GranCoupe were announced

The new four-door coupe BMW 2 Series GranCoupe, which will be presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, will go on sale in March’20. In Russia, at the start of sales, the novelty will be available with two engines, the press service of the Bavarian brand reports.

For Russian customers, a version of the BMW 218i GranCoupeOnlineEdition is available, which can be purchased only in case of the prepayment in the official bmw.ru website. The model is offered at a price of 1 million 990 thousand rubles and it has a fixed configuration, which includes two-tone alloy wheels, heated sports seats, adaptive LED headlights, Hi-Fi audio system, parking assistant and other equipment.

The BMW 2 Series GranCoupe shares the architecture with the BMW 1 Series, but it features by an elongated coupe silhouette, frameless doors and lot of space in the cabin. The length of the car is 4526 mm (as in the BMW 3 Series of one of the previous generations), the stock of space for second-row passengers grew by 33 mm, and the seat is installed by 12 mm higher. The 430-liter boot, the back of the rear sofa folds in proportions of 40:20:40, and the cover is optionally equipped with a non-contact opening function.

Three suspension options are available for BMW 2 Series GranCoupe: standard, M Sport (with 10 mm decreased ground clearance) and adaptive suspension (with two stiffness options: Comfort and Sport). The M Sport steering and the M Sport brake system are available as an option.

The flagship version of the BMW M235i xDrive received BMW's most powerful 4-cylinder engine and intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive. Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 4.9 seconds. Externally, BMW M235i xDrive has a radiator closer with a three-dimensional mesh, a front bumper with large air intakes, a glossy black finish, a BMW M rear apron and a rear spoiler. By default, the BMW M235i xDrive is equipped with M Sport steering, M Sport brake system, a new limited-slip mechanical differential on the front axle and sports seats in the passenger compartment. LaunchControl function provides 450 Nm of torque in the first and second gears.
