Under the bonnet of the new generation Mazda3 sedan there is an uncontested 1.5-liter Skyactiv-G gasoline engine, which develops 120 HP and it is paired with an automatic transmission. The new Mazda3 is equipped with the G-VectoringControlPlus system, which offers the improved algorithms in extreme driving conditions during rebuilding and cornering.

For the Russian version of the Mazda3 sedan in the Active configuration, it will be available dual-zone climate control, cruise control, a multifunctional 8.8 "TFT-display of a multimedia system with CarPlay and AndroidAuto, a projection screen on the windshield and LED headlights (LED) with fog lamp function.

In addition, two optional packages are offered for the new Mazda3 sedan. For 18 thousand rubles, car equipment can be expanded by heating the steering wheel and heating the brush area. A package worth 66 thousand rubles includes keyless entry, an internal rearview mirror with auto-dimming, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera and heated steering wheel.

According to the calculations of MazdaMotor Rus, the sales ratio of the hatchback and the sedan will remain at the same level, and the sedan will keep 60% of the total volume of Mazda3.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, by the results of 8 months of 2019, Russian Mazda dealers sold 18,841 vehicles, which is 4% lower than the figure for the same period of the previous year. As a result, Mazda's market share was 1.7%, according to AEB. Mazda's bestseller in the Russian market remains the CX-5 crossover.
