    In February of 2019, sales of new cars in Russia fell by 3.6% in compare with February of 2018. The mass segment for the second month in a row shows a negative trend (-4.8%). Its sales amounted to 112,135 vehicles, which is 90.6% of the total sales.

Dacia Duster became the leader among crossovers in Europe in August

The compact SUV Dacia Duster rose to the second place at first in the ranking of best-selling models in Europe in August. As a result, the new Duster has become a leader in the SUV segment in the European car market.

According to the research company JATO Dynamics, Volkswagen Golf was the best-selling model in Europe in the previous month with 26,411 sold vehicles (-23.6%). Dacia Duster is the second one; its sales reached 19,451 cars (+ 10.8%). The third result was shown by Volkswagen T-Roc - sales of this model grew by 27.8% to 18,262 units. Dacia Sandero is the next, which was chosen by 17,764 European customers (+ 2.5%). Volkswagen Polo finishes the top 5, with 16,692 sold units (-21.2%).

The TOP-10 best-selling models in Europe also included Renault Clio (16,498 units, -36.8%), Skoda Octavia (15,997 units, + 0.6%), Volkswagen Tiguan (14,665 units, -24.8 %), Opel / Vauxhall Corsa (14,301 units, + 21.3%) and Renault Captur (13,526 units, -33.6%).
