    Experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" and the publishing house "Za Rulem" decided to find out in a joint online poll what types of fuel Russian motorists use. The survey was conducted from August 29th to September 9th, 2018. More than 16 thousand respondents took part in it.



The new vice president of sales and marketing in AvtoVAZ


Since October 1st, 2019, Olivier Morne has been appointed Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AvtoVAZ. In this position, he will be replaced by Jan Ptachek, who will continue the career in the perimeter of Groupe Renault, reports the AvtoVAZ press service.

Mr. Morne is a graduate of ESSEC International Business School. Since 1996, he worked at PSA Peugeot Citroen, at different times he was responsible for sales and marketing, as well as for quality and customer satisfaction. The perimeter of his responsibility included PSA Peugeot Citroen structures in France, Slovenia, Poland, Austria, Netherlands, and Italy. Since 2016, Olivier Morne, has worked as the CEO of Changan PSA Automotive Company (a joint venture in China). AvtoVAZ President, Yves Karakatzanis, expressed the confidence that the professionalism and extensive international experience of Olivier Morne will help to keep LADA momentum and further strengthen of LADA's position in the Russian and export markets.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, by the results of 8 months of 2019, Russian LADA dealers sold 233,684 cars, which is 2.5% higher than the previous year. The market share of LADA in the reporting period was 21%, and it is the best result for the last 8 years. Granta and Vesta models are the best-selling in Russia.

The LADA brand is represented in the segments B, B +, SUV and LCV, which are five model families: Vesta, XRAY, Largus, Granta and 4x4. The official LADA dealer network is the largest in Russia - about 300 dealerships.
