    As experts of the analytic agency AUTOSTAT have established, in Russia the ratio between sales of new and used cars is 1: 3.3. In other words, there are 10 used cars per 3 purchased new cars this year.



TOP 10 the most popular station wagons in Moscow


According to the data of the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, for 7 months of 2019, residents of the capital bought 5.6 thousand new passenger cars in the station wagon body. This is 18% lower than in the same period of the previous year.

Note that we consider only classic wagons, not crossovers and SUVs that have the same body type. The most popular model in this segment is LADA Largus - during the reporting period, 1743 Muscovites bought it, which is 6% lower than in January - July of the previous year.

KIA Seed SW is the second one (1104 units; -35%), and LADA Vesta SW finishes the top 3 of leaders, which together with Cross version sold 1064 units (+ 43%). Ford Focus station wagons (529 units; -475) and Volkswagen Caddy (173 units; + 13%) are the next in the ranking.

In addition to them, the TOP 10 most popular new station wagons in Moscow included: LADA Granta, Renault Dokker (129 units; -26%), Subaru Outback (118 units; -31%), Volvo V90 (109 units; -29%) and Volkswagen Passat (98 units; -26%).
