The Nissan Qashquai entered TOP-10 European bestsellers

In September the Nissan Qashqai entered TOP-10 best selling models in Europe. According to Nissan, one more brand’s SUV – the Juke – set up the new sales record in Europe last month. Due to the growing demand for Nissan SUVs, including the Pathfinder of Spanish production, the Navara pickup and the X-Trail, the brand could take the record share in the European market for its history – 4.2% - and to become a leader among Asian brands. 

According to JATO Dynamics company, in September the Volkswagen Golf became the best selling model in Europe, its sales grew by 8.5% up to 47,731 cars. The second place was taken by the Ford Fiesta with 35,874 cars sold (-9.6%). The Opel/Vauxhall Corsa, whose sales grew by 5.2% up to 34,598 cars, took the third place. Almost equal results belong to the Volkswagen Polo (31,682 cars, +9.3%) and the Ford Focus (31,421 cars, +23.6%). TOP-10 best selling models in Europe also includes the Renault Clio (28,292 cars, +6.5%), the Opel/Vauxhall Astra (26,689 cars, -9.6%), the Volkswagen Passat (24,633 cars, +52.8%), the Renault Megane (21,937 cars, +3.5%) and the Nissan Qashqai (20,140 cars, +11.4%).
