    Experts of the analytical agency AUTOSTAT conducted a study and answered the question about the dependence of the car owner age and the brand of his car. Based on the data of surveys conducted from 2013 to 2019, more than 240 thousand questionnaires of respondents aged 18 to 65 were processed.



The market of used cars fell by 6% in Perm


According to the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, the market size of used cars reached 11,863 units in Perm in the 1H19. It is 6.4% lower than the previous year. We also note that among the cities with a population over one million people in Russia, the secondary market declined only in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The domestic brand LADA had about a quarter (23.5%) of the Perm market of used cars. Toyota is the second with a share of 6.8%, Chevrolet is the third one (6.2%). Finishing outside of the top 3 is KIA (6.1%). The same indicators are at Renault and Hyundai (5.8% each). Thus, these six brands occupy more than a half (54.2%) of the secondary Perm car market.
