  • 23.08.19 TOP 10 most known antifreeze brands

Experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" in the framework of the study "AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS-2019. Car Antifreezes: Opinion of car owners” rated the level of the car antifreeze brand recognition.

Every third truck in the Russian Federation is Soviet-made

According to the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, 1.33 million Soviet-made trucks, i.e. until 1992, registered in Russia. This represents 35% of the total truck parc in the country (as of January 1st, 2019), i.e. approximately every third unit.

30% of “Soviet” trucks accounted for GAZ vehicles that are almost 400 thousand units. More than a quarter of this parc belongs to the products of the Kama Automobile Plant and 354 thousand of KAMAZ vehicles, produced in the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, are registered in Russia. The TOP-three of leaders includes the already defunct ZIL, about 300 thousand vehicles of which have the Soviet past.

In addition to them, in the truck parc of domestic brands, but born in the USSR, there are products of "SAZ" (Saransk plant of dump trucks, 107 thousand units) and "URAL" (54 thousand units). And among the manufacturers of the former Soviet republics, the Soviet-made vehicles of which are still registered in the territory of the Russian Federation, it is worth noting the Belarusian MAZ (72 thousand units) and BELAZ (1 thousand units), the Ukrainian KRAZ (34 thousand units) and the Georgian KAZ (Kutaisi Automobile Plant or Colchis, more than 9 thousand units).

Recall also that earlier the experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT" calculated how many cars and light commercial vehicles registered in Russia that came off the assembly line in the USSR period.
