Corporate car sales are growing the fourth year in a row in Russia


According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", by the results of 5 months of 2019, 85.4 thousand new passenger cars were sold to corporate clients (legal entities) in Russia. It is more by 6% than a year ago. According to agency experts, the corporate sales in the Russian car market have been growing the fourth year in a row. Today, they account for 14.4% of the total market of new cars, i.e. every seventh sold car.

The domestic brand LADA is leading in terms of corporate sales in the country, with a figure of 11,500 units in January-May, which is 13% more than the previous year. The second place is occupied by Japanese Toyota (8 thousand units; + 13%), in the third place - Korean KIA (7.8 thousand units; -2%). The TOP-five among the brands also includes German Volkswagen (7.6 thousand units; + 14%) and Czech Skoda (6.9 thousand units; + 34%).

In the model structure of corporate sales, the leadership was occupied by LADA Largus wagon - for 5 months, legal entities bought 4.9 thousand units of this model (+ 12%). Last year’s leader, Volkswagen Polo sedan, fell to the second position with 4.6 thousand units (+ 34%). Toyota Camry (3.9 thousand units; + 50%) and Hyundai Solaris sedans (3.1 thousand units; -13%) follow, and Skoda Rapid liftback (5,8 thousand units) closes the TOP-5 2,8 thousand units; + 42%).
