TOP-5: what new foreign cars cost up to 1 million rubles do Russians choose?

Analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" made TOP-5 by the weighted average price of new cars with account of sales by modifications. This time one of the most popular price ranges was chosen - from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles.

The leader in this price segment was the Korean car KIA Rio. In the first 6 months of 2019, the Russians purchased 47,431 Rio cars, and its average price was 939 thousand rubles. The second place was taken by Hyundai Solaris – 30,710 sold cars with an average cost of 897 thousand rubles. And the TOP-three is closed by Volkswagen Polo sedan, the sales of which were 27810 units in the first half of the year, and the average price was 848 thousand rubles.

The TOP-five of the most popular cars with an average cost from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles among Russians also included the French compact crossover Renault Duster (18,713 units, price - 995 thousand rubles) and the Czech liftback Skoda Rapid, (16,978 units, price - 952 thousand rubles). Analysts noted that all five most popular foreign cars are assembled in Russia.
