TOP-10 of regions of Russia in terms of the market volume of new LCVs


According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the market volume of new LCVs in Russia in January-May of the current year amounted to 41.1 thousand units, which is less by 7.8% than a year before. At the same time, almost a half (48.8%) of it falls on only 10 regions.

The largest regional market of light commercial vehicles in Russia is Moscow - during the reporting period its volume in the capital reached 5,962 cars, by showing a drop of 15.6%. In the second place there is the neighboring Moscow region with the result of 3,883 units (-16.7%). The third place is occupied by St. Petersburg, the indicator of which was 2,264 sold units (-20.8%). The Krasnodar Territory became the best among non-capital constituent entities of the Russian Federation (1,658 units; -4.9%), and the TOP-five of leaders is closed by Tatarstan (1,303 units; -9.6%).

The TOP-10 of Russian regions in terms of the market volume of new LCV for January-May of this year also included: Sverdlovsk region (1,135 units; + 4.1%), Nizhny Novgorod region (1,069 units; -16%), Rostov region (980 units; -3.9%), Bashkortostan (979 units; + 0.6%) and Samara region (833 units; -21.8%).
