The provision of cars in Russia is 2 times less than in Europe

In Europe, there are 587 vehicles per 1,000 inhabitants in average. The highest indicator of provision with cars (740) is observed in Luxembourg, and the lowest (329) - in Romania. In this case, in Germany, the indicator of provision is 610 cars per 1000 inhabitants, in France - 590, in the UK - 544, in Spain - 611, and in Italy - as many as 707.

As the analytic agency AUTOSTAT has previously reported, in Russia there are 310 cars and light commercial vehicles in their personal use per every thousand of inhabitants.
