In the majority of Russian regions, there is the growth of the market of new cars

According to the analytic agency AUTOSTAT, for the first four months of this year, the market volume of new passenger cars in Russia amounted to 475 thousand units, which coincides practically with the result for the same period of the last year (474,9 thousand units).

According to the agency experts, the market is growing in 52 regions of our country. At the same time, the best market dynamics was recorded in the Republic of Tyva (+ 77.2%). Sales of new cars in Nenets Autonomous territory (+ 39.4%) and in Kamchatka (+ 32.5%) increased by more than 30%.

Among the large regional markets, double-digit growth was also observed in the subjects of the Siberian Federal District - Krasnoyarsk Territory (+ 23.5%), Kemerovo (+ 18.5%) and Novosibirsk (+ 12.8%) regions. We also note the Moscow region (+ 11.5%), which ranks the second in the country in terms of the market volume of new cars.

In the rest of the Russian regions, there is a negative trend in the car market. The strongest decline was recorded in Chukotka (-20.8%) and in Dagestan (-20.3%). At the same time, the residents of Moscow's metropolitan areas — Moscow (-7%) and St. Petersburg (-3.2%) — began to buy fewer cars.
