Volkswagen opened the first digital showroom in the North Caucasus


The German automaker Volkswagen and the company “Avtoberg” opened a dealership in Pyatigorsk, which operates according to the Digital concept. According to the Volkswagen press service, it is the first digital showroom of the brand in the North Caucasus.

Dealership Volkswagen "Avto Berg" has an area of 2331.8 square meters and provides a full range of services for the sale, insurance and lending of new Volkswagen cars and used cars, as well as their service, body repair, sale of spare parts and accessories. The service area is equipped with 13 service stations and 1 diagnostic line, which permits to meet maximally the requirements of customers.

It is noted that the process of car purchase in a digital auto show expands the possibilities of choice and provides customers with greater flexibility. Thanks to the area of the configurator of the car, which is equipped with a modern HD video wall, the selection of the car, the choice of colors, configuration and options becomes more vivid and emotional. The client receives the finished offer by e-mail along with the additional media content that was used in the consultation process.

The process is managed either by a brand specialist or with a client using a tablet, on which a mobile application is installed. It allows a specialist to determine the customer's wishes for the future car, configure it in the desired version, check the availability of such a version in the warehouse of the dealership. All the necessary information is displayed on the screen, while the process can be accompanied by the demonstration of videos with a demonstration of innovative technologies in action.

“The Volkswagen dealership network is expanding, but it is more important that the quality of the provided services is growing, also because of the development of the concept of digital showrooms. Digital concept for dealerships implies a fundamentally new car purchase process, and today it is available for our customers in Pyatigorsk,” - said Petr Zaychek, the head of business development and Volkswagen’s dealer network. As AUTOSTAT has previously reported, for the first quarter of 2019, Russian dealers of Volkswagen sold 22,075 cars, which is more by 4% than in January-March of the last year.
