Ford occupies more than 3% of the Russian car parc


According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", as of January 1st, 2019 in our country there were 1 million 389.3 thousand Ford cars, which is 3.2% of the total parc.

More than 70% of this amount falls on three federal districts - Central, North-West and Volga ones. In total, about 1 million Ford cars are registered there.

If you look at this parc with a regional detailing, then we can that in Moscow and the Moscow region there is about one fifth of all such vehicles (22.3%), and in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region - a tenth part (9.8%). Among the non-capital regions, the Krasnodar Territory (4.1%), the Sverdlovsk and Rostov Regions (3,3 and 3%, respectively) are the leaders. In the model structure of this parc in Russia - today there are about 60 names, but the main tone is set by only five models, which have over 80% of the total number - Focus, Mondeo, Fusion, Kuga, Fiesta.

More than a half of the Russian parc of passenger cars Ford includes Focus models (737.2 thousand units; share - 53.1%). As for the rest, included in the TOP-5, their indicators are a bit more modest: Ford Mondeo - almost 140 thousand units (share - 10.1%), Fusion - 118.2 thousand units (8.5%), Kuga - 78.8 thousand units (5.7%), Fiesta - 58.4 thousand units (4.2%).
