KIA kept sales at last year's level in Russia in February

Russian dealers of KIA sold 21,011 cars in February, which corresponds to the level of the last year. As a result, KIA keeps the leadership among foreign automakers in Russia, and the market share of the brand, according to preliminary data, reached 14%. For the first two months of 2019, 33,420 KIA vehicles were sold in Russia, which is a 1% increase for the same period of the last year.

According to the press service of KIA Motors Rus, the best-selling model of KIA in the Russian market remains Rio - in February, 7102 cars were sold (-21%). The second place in terms of sales in the KIA model range in Russia was occupied by Sportage compact crossover, which was chosen by 2,456 buyers, which is less by 1% than a year ago. The TOP- three of the most popular models of the month also included the Ceed family with an indicator of 1816 sold hatchbacks and wagons.

It is worth noting that the demand for the KIA Optima business sedan grew by 39% up to 1,713 vehicles.
