Corporate vehicles generate about 10% of the Russian parc

At the beginning of the year, there were 5.6 million vehicles registered for the companies in our country. These data is included in the report “Legal entities’ vehicle parc in Russia as of January 1, 2019”, prepared by the experts of AUTOSTAT analytic agency.

Thus, the share of corporate transport is 9.7% of the total number of vehicles registered in Russia. We should remind, that, taking into account motorcycles and trailers/semi-trailers, this number has already reached 57.5 million vehicles. Depending on the type of vehicles, the share of legal entities in the parc is quite different. The least share comes from passenger cars - only 4% or 1.74 million units.

In the LCV segment, this indicator is about a quarter (23.8%) of the parc or 978,300 vehicles.

The largest number of corporate vehicles is registered in the truck segment - almost 2 million units, which exceeds half (52.5%) of the entire parc. However, the highest proportion (70.8%) of legal entities is registered in the bus segment, although due to the paucity of this parc, there are only 287,200 vehicles.
