KIA ProCeed will appear in Russia in the second quarter of 2019

A new generation of Pro Ceed with a five-door body “shootingbrake” has received approval of the type of vehicle in Russia. Sales will start in Russia in the second quarter of 2019, reports the press service of the Korean brand.

In the Russian market, KIA ProCeed will be presented with two variants of turbocharged petrol engines: 1.4T-GDI (140 HP) and 1.6T-GDI (200 HP). Both versions are equipped with a 7-speed robotic transmission with two clutches.

ProCeed has a fully independent suspension. Moreover, its geometry and settings are changed relatively to other versions of Ceed.

The new KIA ProCeed is the successor to the three-door hatchback pro_cee’d and it is the epitome of the Proceed Concept car in the serial model. The development of design and construction was fully implemented in Europe, and the model was refined here. The novelty has the same design motifs in sports coupe, ProCeed is lower and longer than the hatchback and Ceed wagon.

Common to other versions of Ceed there were only the bonnet and front fenders, all other body panels are original.
