Renault Russia and the Government of Moscow have agreed to create an Information Development Center

On February 14th, Renault Russia and the Moscow government signed a bilateral agreement on the creation of Information Development Center within the framework of the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi. The agreement is aimed at the joint development of intelligent automated systems, including the development of joint products and information services of a new generation, also for usage in the transport infrastructure of the city of Moscow. The potential amount of funding could be about 350 million rubles, informs the press service of Renault Russia.

As part of the agreement with the Government of Moscow, the Information Development Center will operate in four main areas: New technologies of the Internet of Things, which presumes wide usage of telematics systems for processing and transmitting data in order to optimize urban mobility; Bigdata - new technological capabilities for collecting and analyzing data sets in problem areas and effective use of the information obtained; Systems of predictive models for analyzing the need for technical support of urban communication systems and roads; Services in the field of new mobility, aimed at the development of car sharing, electric transport, multimodal mobility, etc.

The center plans to attract experts on new technologies, including BigData, artificial intelligence and other areas to develop their own and partner solutions with leading market players, as well as the Moscow government, start-ups and leading Russian innovation technology centers. The Information Development Center is located in the territory of the Technopolis of Moscow.
