TOP-10 of brands in terms of corporate sales of passenger cars in Russia

According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", according to the results of 2018, almost 230 thousand new passenger cars were sold to corporate clients (legal entities) in Russia, which is more by 13% than the result of 2017. According to agency experts, the share of corporate sales in our country accounts for 14% of the Russian market, or every seventh sold vehicle.

In terms of corporate sales in the country, the domestic brand LADA is the leader, the figure of which amounted to 28.3 thousand units in the last year - more by 9.5% than a year ago. The second place is occupied by the Korean KIA (23.3 thousand units; + 34%), and the Japanese Toyota closes the TOP-three (21.4 thousand units; + 14.5%). Then it is followed by German Volkswagen (21.1 thousand units; + 25%) and French Renault (17.2 thousand units; + 18.5%).

The TOP-10 in terms of corporate sales of passenger cars in the Russian Federation for 2018 also included: Skoda (16.9 thousand units; + 12%), Hyundai (15.4 thousand units, + 2.5%), Mercedes-Benz (13.7 thousand units; + 15%), BMW (11.3 thousand units; + 27%) and Nissan (7.5 thousand units; -8%). We should note that only the last brand in the TOP-ten showed a negative trend, while all the others are in the "plus". It is largely due to the retirement of the Almera sedan, the share of which was a quarter of all Nissan corporate sales.
