Volvo increased sales by 11% in Russia in 2018

In 2018 Russian dealers of Volvo sold 7,772 cars, which is more by 10.9% than a year ago.

According to the Volvo Car Russia press service, the mid-sized XC60 second-generation crossover, which was sold out in the amount of 2,830 units, became the best-seller of the brand in the Russian market. The second result in terms of sales was shown by a full-size X90 crossover, which was chosen by 2,210 buyers (-8.5%). The TOP-three of Volvo is closed by new XC40 compact crossover - it was sold 922 of such cars in the last year.

As AUTOSTAT reported earlier, in June of 2019, Volvo Cars will start the sales of the new Volvo V60 Cross Country model in Russia, and in August a new S60 sedan will appear in the Russian market.

Meanwhile, deliveries to Russia of Volvo S60, Volvo S60 Cross Country and V60 Cross Country models of the previous generation have been completed.
