    The analytic agency “AUTOSTAT” within the framework of the project “AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS - 2019. Used cars: preferences of car owners” (third wave) * investigated the willingness of car owners to consider purchase of a used car at a dealership. This study was conducted by online survey in March of 2019; it was attended by more than 1,900 car owners of various car brands.



Hyundai strengthens the dealer network in Russia


The company "Hyundai Motor CIS" continued to strengthen its position in the Russian market in 2018. At the end of the year, Hyundai had a dealer network of 190 dealers throughout Russia, reported the press service of the Korean brand. Among them, there is also the large international car dealer Inchcape, the first dealer center of which started to work, in Moscow, in October 2018, by selling Hyundai and Genesis cars. And in December, Favorit Motors opened its first dealership of Hyundai in Moscow.

Also, Hyundai Motor CIS is completing a campaign to update the dealer network and bring all dealers to uniform standards, which includes the new design of the building and the showroom of dealerships. As noted, this initiative is designed to increase brand awareness and create a comfortable atmosphere for customers in the dealerships of the brand.

As previously reported AUTOSTAT, in 2018, the company Hyundai Motor CIS, according to preliminary data, sold about 180 thousand cars, which is more by 13% compared to the previous year. At the same time, sales in the SUV segment were 98 thousand vehicles, which accounted for 55% of the total sales volume of the brand. The share of Hyundai concern in the Russian automotive market is 10%.
